What can I say, my life has been pretty challenging for the past 2 years and it has affected my mojo for writing. Just couldn't bring myself to writing anything remotely readable without being sappy, emotional, and just wanting to whinge. In a way, you have to be glad that I have saved you from 2 years of emotional thrash.

Just trying to get my creative and writing juice back in the bottle, and the only way to do it is in baby steps (keep writing nonsense), and also enriching my life experience (get myself involved with various meaninful activities, inspiring people, and read more books!!!).

Then the rest, we'll leave it to the Universe to make it happen.

Read the Alchemist (finally!!) recently, and this sentence has been engraved into my tiny brain.

"If you want something bad enough, the whole Universe will conspire and help you realise your desire."

Dear All,

I am writing this as a dead corpse, well almost.

It was hell last night.

Long story short, I slept at 530am this morning, and have been at work since 830am.

Colleague fucked up major.

Got an event today. His project. With another event company. We are considered the 'sub con' to supply performers and other entertainers.

Last night, at 6pm SHARP, he told us he needed help. So we stayed back to help him, thinking it was just prep work for today. Big mistake.

Turns out, the costume he ORDERED TAILORED MADE from UK did not arrive. Not even sure where the goods are now. Seller said shipped. Even showed receipt, then we traced with Fedex. And then lord and behold, the goods got sent to Indonesia. BECAUSE the fucker did not update the MAILING ADDRESS in his purchaser's account (he was working in Indonesia before this).

As we were literally cracking our brains to solve the costume shit and also find see who else can do what....more DRAMA came at about 9pm+....the performer, from KOREA, REFUSE to perform because he claims that the amount we are paying him is NOT the right amount. His Manager called and then threatened us that they are not performing.

At the end of the night, I have to go do my PR shit and layan them....I was waiting at the hotel lobby at MIDNIGHT last night! Then entertain the shitass and then talk about how we can work out the situation, as the fee has been budgeted and allocated for now, but we will have more work in the future shit. Ended up drinking quite a bit and this morning got home at 530am.

The One With The Pair of Pink Stilletos and a Confession To Make

I have a confession to make....

One day, 2 weeks ago, I was out of the office whole day for back to back meetings. When I got back to office, I worked till about 930pm, and then I went home to crash.

The next day, ma boss announced that 2 persons' money (new interns in the office) was stolen. And if the person who stole the money returns the cash (don't know how, but somehow) before 6pm, then he wont pursue the matter. At 6:05pm, nothing happened.

The next next morning, the 2 girls went to make a police report. The police inspector came. Made a full round of interrogation. Took finger prints and everything. Then he said, if the culprit owns up within the next 2 days, they would not submit this report to Bukit Aman for further investigation.

Ok, the above was what was 'extraordinary' that happened in my office, besides the usual brainstorm, phone calls, crazy talks and creative ideas making in progress. But that was not what my confession was going to be about.

My confession is, I am going to SKIVE from work right after this entry. (Actually meaning to write and send this entry first thing in the morning, but was caught up with my work). So, if anyone wants to come out and pretend to be busy with me in a coffee joint / pub joint with WiFi service, then please let me know....(this is my way of hanging out TILL 10pm tonight for STYLO) I am even FULLY DRESSED for the occasion, complete with the make up / look :)

Also, over lunch time today, I taught my colleagues (8 of them left, with ONE guy) the basic bachatta steps!! KONFIDEN~~~~the crab walk and 1 simple turn....with a tap instead of the 'hip'. I still don't know how to do to the 'hip' thing.

Morbid Ole' Master Q

I belong to the generation where I get to experience haircuts at the barber when I was younger. None of those fancy saloons or hairstyling houses, just simple barber shops stripped down to its minimum.....a chair, a mirror, a comb, a pair of scissors, of course, plus the barber himself.

No, I did not have to suffer from those morbid coconut haircuts, instead, I used to have my hair styled like a china baby doll, with bangs snapped right across the forehead just above the eyebrows, and shoulder length at the back. Of course, there was no colourings or highlightings to be done, and therefore, mine was sleeky black, as though woven in the sunshine with the wind running through each strand.

My favourite past time at the barber was to read Ole' Master Q, the scruffled looking tiny comic book tainted in a kind of as-time-passes yellowness with missing pages on every other flip, and laughing out loud at every punch lines or silly acts. Even though those punch lines and silly acts had been reused and abused in other context umpteen times, I still feel nostalgic towards the silly old man and his gang of friends.

Sometimes I wish I had captured those moments, those black rubber chairs, those red and blue twirling signages, those huge mirrors and those innocent smiles with my camera, but then again, perhaps if I did, I wont be seeing them so clearly now, would I?

Hold your horses and don’t get too excited. Don't think I'm going to heed Kerfy's advice and start posting any nude pictures or becoming a sex blog writer anytime soon. Just that I learnt this word 'Nymphomaniac' last night while chatting on MSN with Mr. Cinderella and found it to be a very interesting one, thus would like to share it with you.

From I could understand from Mr. Cinderella's brief definition (well I'm too lazy to be checking up the dictionary you see) of 'Nymphomaniac' is:

WOW!!! Doesn't that sound exciting and send your meat loaf / groins pulsate with excitement?!?!? Someone who just wants sex and nothing else!!! THE PERFECT PARTNER!!!

Then, being the unvocabeducated person I am, I tried to digest what he has said. When regurgitated to layman's term, a Nympho is, to me, someone who is addicted to sex. No? If following this train of thoughts, then everyone is a Nympho!! No??

Sort of...I mean we are all addicted to sex.......but they crave it more than most people... and they don't feel any other real connection with people beyond fucking.........

On a lighter note, I put forth a hypothetical question to continue our chat.

Considering that we are not nymphomaniacs *chuckles* how many times do u think we will make love, given all the time and space we needed in a day. And what do we use as the basis to calculate the amount of times we do it???

I thought that was a pretty interesting and intelligent question, if you can detach yourself from fantasizing about the actual scene and concentrate on the means of calculation. I mean, will it be calculated based on the number of times the boy shove his meat loaf, the number of times the girl's girlfriends call her on her mobile, or the number of times the boy shouts to halt actions because he is hungry??

And guess what?? His reply was really hilarious and got me thinking for a bit.....

Ha... I don’t know....it would depend on so many variables....your mood my mood and what else there was to do. But hey maybe we could try and go non stop for a day, and break a world record or something??

WHAT?? BREAK A WORLD RECORD FOR HAVING THE LONGEST SESSION OF SEX AT ONE GO??

Yeah why not... I think it would make a good record....and a great headline... kickboxer lays down her first record and jumps into another one!

I couldn't get to sleep last night. So I sat up from my bed, walked to the telly room and switched on the telly. There was no interesting program showing at 4am. I switched the telly off and went to bed instead.

I was craving for chicken rice as dinner. So I took the lift downstairs, walked towards the food court, dropping by 7-11 midway. Nothing appealed to my urge of spending, not even the ice cream. I stepped out of 7-11 and bought a packet of chicken rice from the food court for dinner instead.

My left eyelid itched while I was halfway through this sentence. I used my right index finger to scratch my neck and then the eyelid. Now both my neck and left eyelid do not itch anymore.

1. Pretend to faint and fall from 4th step of a staircase, outside school campus, just so that I could be sent to the hospital and skip my (Sec 3) Chinese Literature final exam, with a valid medical reason.

2. Put up an internet hoax to someone at random, threatened to kill myself by leaving the gas to leak and killing the rest of my family with me, and got the policemen at my doorsteps even before I could tell that someone at random I was merely joking.

3. Forgave an ex partner for cheating on me, when I bumped into him shagging another woman on the bed we slept on, and got ditched by him in the end because he was marrying that same woman.

World Peace or The Ideal Man?

A woman was walking along the beach when she stumbled upon a bottle. She picked it up and rubbed it, and lo-and-behold a Genie appeared. The amazed woman asked if she got three wishes. The Genie said, "Nope, sorry. Three-wish genies are a myth. Most of us are just single wish types. I'm a one-wish genie. So, what will it be?"

The woman didnt hesitate...She said, "I want peace in the Indian sub continent. See this map? I want these countries to stop fighting with each other and I want all the Hindus to love the Muslims and the Muslims to love the Christians and vice-versa. It will bring about world peace and harmony. "

My thoughts couldn’t help but to run towards her even though I reminded myself, in vain, of those betrayals and hurts she has once done, repetitively, to me. I love her yet at the same time I could not seem to liberate myself from that thorn in my heart.

I wish I could just get into my car now, drive up to her doorway and shout out to the empty house, which we once spent many tantalizing moments together, that I love her still, that I want her to come back to me; but I could not ignore that stinging pain in my chest tormenting my sanity. Every thought of her is like a dose of drug -- I'm addicted -- with every dose taken, I am one step nearer to death.

Instead of submitting to my yearnings, I decided to drown myself with the ostensible companion, alcohol. Thanks to friends' recommendation, I was able to cripple that emotional brawl for the night with Vodka42.

When Love Has No Rules

FOREWORDS

I imagine myself to be this urban girl living in a cosmopolitan city, wanting to capture all of her experiences with love. This story plot could have happened to those we know, or even on ourselves, and we sure miss those tormenting bitter sweetness.

We are always too focused on getting ahead, aiming to reach our destinations quickly, and therefore missing out on something valuable along the way. When we are alone at crossroads, sometimes, we make the wrong decisions and take the wrong paths. The only time when we are sure of ourselves is when we experience love. When that happens, we will barge forward with no regrets and throw all burdens together with all that 'what ifs' behind us.

During my long break (from work and blogging), I have read C.S.Lewis' 'Four Kinds of Love'. It shook my emotions tremendously, yet at the same time, consoled my depressed soul. There is this quote in particular which I found really inspiring,

"If one allows Love to rule his world, hate will be seeding at the same time. It will then sprout to become your God, inevitably, the Devil "

In the world of Love, at one point or another, we are all guilty of inflated egos; thinking that we are invincible and therefore can take things/destinies into our hands and be our own God. In the end, we have fallen to become the Devil which we have no control over.

In another quote, Lewis wrote, "When Love has no rules, it will hurt others and destroy one." In all the stories to come, all my characters seemed to love one another with no boundaries nor rules to guide. When such Love is destroying them, they are destroying others at the same time.

Perhaps, I once believed too that only by loving whole heartedly and willingly, with no rules attached, can be regarded as true Love.

THAI BOXING GIRL I

Sing to entertain one is very different from singing to entertain others, especially if it is your job to sing AND entertain. The singer has to sing whatever is in demand or liked by the audience, instead of basing it purely on his/her preferences. Very often, that usually means singing the same song for more than 3 times a night, 3 nights in a row, killing your taste buds even if it is the most pleasant tune in Heaven and Earth.

TBG has only performed three nights in the cafe, where she part-times as an in-house singer, and it was enough to make her think twice about making a career out of it. Every night, instead of singing her favs, like Ah Mei and Sammi Cheng, she is 'obliged' to sing numbers from S.H.E and TWINS. Not that she has anything against songs from these Taiwanese / Hong Kong girly-girl pop bands, but what TBG is really good at is songs with emotions and more importantly 'power' and 'pitch' (think Dana Ross). Singing, for the moment, has lost its luster to TBG due to the nature of the work.

Inevitably, TBG got so sick after the second night (of repeating herself like a broken jukebox through the same list of songs she has to sing), she negotiated for a week (or two) break, after one more night of performance, to recuperate from her sore throat (and ears). She blamed it (diplomatically) on the haze (if any) and the lack of water and rest.

Her manager was kind enough to release her from the not-so-busy week ahead. Actually, TBG concluded it was because there would not be many patrons for the cafe during the CNY period, so the manager was trying to cut down on the overheads. Nevertheless, TBG was grateful.

On her last night of work, TBG felt kind of pensive, although excited not having to sing anymore girly-girl pop bands' songs after this, she could not help but miss the rundown stage already. It was probably normal for anyone to feel the same at least once in their lifetime, excited and dejected all at once, no? That night, there was melancholy in her voice and sorrow in the moonlight.

Not wanting to be influenced by her dampened mood, her partner, the male lead singer cum guitarist, decided to play some games with the patrons, hoping to dismiss the bleakness. He then asked a question, which brought TBG back to her university years.

"If you have one chance to go back to your past, which year would you want to return to?"

"21 years old..." TBG divulged under her breaths.

Returning to one point in one's past does not necessarily mean one wants to rectify anything then. It could be that one merely wants to revisit and re-live a particularly memorable time and space, and if possible, to find a closure for that episode.

Alfafa Love

After reading 'The Right Time For Love' by Wombat, I feel that to a certain extend there is truth in both speculated theories. TBG would, however, like to add one more point as to what have been pondered upon.

One of the gazillion ways I have used to comfort a friend who has just fallen out of a relationship, over our two-hour phone session, was the attempt to drill the fact into her thick skull that 'He is just not the right one for you' or 'He might be the right guy but you met him at the wrong time'. Then her come back would always be 'So why does he become the right guy for that (next) girl, right after me, and reach the right time to love (that next girl), and that's also right after me?'

I guess it is easy for some of us (and in this case, the man) to let go of our previous relationships, though still feeling the pain somehow, without thinking much about the 'whys' and 'what ifs', and then move on. Yet, we (i.e. the girl) cannot help but to feel predominantly disturbed by the fact that he could get over us so quickly and start to date or even marry another girl, who in every possible angle you see, does not even come close to what you are like. I.e. she looks like she got alfafa growing in her head!!! Maybe the truth is, he LIKES to have alfalfa-brained woman in his life to make it more intriguing with petty quarrels and unnecessary jealousy.

I don't know the answers to these questions, and I am nowhere near enlightenment because I am still spending two hours every night talking to that friend of mine.

The lower backache has returned, feeling like someone is sawing a blunt knife on my lower back, all thanks to the 4 nights of insomnia and some weird flu medicine prescribed for my supposedly normal flu. Cannot even cross my legs when I sit!

Was thinking if I should try out as a full-time vegan for a short period of time, and perhaps, it will help, somehow, improve my physics (both health and appearance wise).

Since I was not sleeping much, I did not want to waste time trying. Hence, last night, I wrote a super mushy letter to my really close friends whom I have befriended for many years!

I thought, i would be nice to document it in my blog as a reference for myself in the future...

Dear Friends,

Marco has just fallen asleep next to me, on the couch, right after I fed him his flu & cough syrup. Both of us have been ill since last Thursday, but he is getting better and I am not.

There is a pile of overnight (over 2 nights actually) clothes sitting in the washing machine. They were cleaned, 2 nights ago, but I just haven't gotten around to bring them out to air. Well, that's not exactly true, I did put out 4 pieces to dry only to find that it is compulsory for me to write this email to you guys, right this moment, just in case all the things I want to say escape me.

As I was hanging out the clothes, I was thinking that we have indeed knew each other for 13 years. Sounds like a damn bloody long time, and indeed it was, not because of its length, but because of all the things we have weathered through together.

First it was the new-to-college-and-im-lost phase, the finding each other phase, the hanging out together like a group of hippie nerd phase, the oh-my-god-snowee-why-are-you-

gay phase (I still remember laughing soooo hard when I heard snowee say that Chan-Cushin and Little-eye actually cried when he came out to everyone, well, almost everyone lah)...

Then it was the Perth episode, where everyone mixed with everyone and a lot of youth, tears, laughters, and love were splurged. We fell in love, we fell out of love, we fell back in love again. Then Daisy and Big-K fell deeply and seriously in love and got engaged.

Then it was post-uni time, everyone was lost, scared and excited all at the same time. We left and parted after 3 years of being 'together'. We saw one another through 'feeling lost', 'job hunting', 'buying cars', 'buying condos' and more trials and turmoils pertaining to 'career' and 'affairs of the heart'. There were more partings, Chan-Cushin and Snowee left for NY...Lil-eyes and Richie came back to Malaysia for a short 2-year stunt, and then return to Perth. Saz was still working very hard in Brunei...(and now she has become a very important person in her department, and the last I spoke to her, she is working at the Shanghai Expo!!!)

Then there was this marriage thing happening. First Daisy, then Saz, then me, then chan-cushin, then lil-eyes, and our beloved Snowee is in a mutual almost-married relationship with his love....i'm guessing things are also looking bright for Nan-nan and Perry-Chicken!

in between our core group extended into its second generation, with the arrival of Princess A and Baby Marco...and finally, soon-to-be-born baby boy (dunno whats the name yet).

You see, all these might be easily summarised into a few paragraphs in an email, but we all know deeply that all these incidents have brought us together and bonded us.

Tonight, as I look at baby marco's innocent face falling asleep so peacefully next to me, on the couch, right after I fed him some cough and flu syrup, I feel that I needed to tell everyone of you how blessed and thankful I am to have everyone in my life. God has been kind to me, and so have you guys.

Thank you and i really love everyone, perhaps in my own unique way less obvious to many.

My Creativity Stems From Emotional Turmoil. This Is One Of Those Nights.

As like most people who started blogging back in the late 90s, majority would agree that they started writing on blogs as a form of journal documenting their relationships or journey of the emotions. More often than not, somewhat somewhere, deep down, the author secretly hoped for someone to stumble upon what's been written, and to read with empathy.

As for the others, it’s a personal space for them to display their wildest fantasies, creativity, and imagination, anonymously. I remember one of my favourites was Dolly, as she wrote everything about her wildest dating and sexual fantasies, be it true or not, it was an exciting and refreshing read.

Personally, I find this kind of blog interests me more because it connects the strange curious minds without being connected physically. I also believe that, sometimes, you'd tend to engage in deep conversation with a stranger than with your closed ones, because after the conversation, both strange parties can just leave everything behind and move on without any obligations.

This was how I felt anyway, when I started my first blog, titled 'All About Loving You', as a space for me to document my feelings, my wildest fantasies, my raging creative energy and also my darkest deepest secrets.

Eventually, the act of writing in blogs, or blogging has taken a rapid and sudden dive into 'realism' where everything seems more interesting if it was upbeat with actions, photos, and more actions. Somehow it was interesting, for a while, until it has taken a toil on the author to start chasing for more news, actions, and activities in their life to fill in this space. Perhaps, it is also demanding in a realistic way for the author to be creative, but somehow, it’s no longer in that dreamy surreal sense.

"Fight Like A Girl" is my third blog. What happened to my second blog, I heard you ask? Well, to put it short and sweetly, I met my husband through my second blog and now we are married. So that blog is special to me as it has all that I needed to remember of how our love ignited and blossomed.

Anyway, there is no real point to this post, rather, I'm feeling somewhat nostalgic today. Just as I was browsing through the blog archives I have, I stumbled upon this piece which I have never published / shared anywhere online. Perhaps, it's good for me to share it here, as it might start to stir / awaken some emotions that fuels my writing. In a way, I believe, I write best when I am experiencing emotional turmoil. And on the other hand, I must be doing very well in the relationship department to be able to stay away from blogging, and hence leaving Fight Like A Girl so barren and fractured.

Here's what it is...see if it strikes a cord within you?

This was one of those nights where the more you desperately wanted to fall asleep as quickly as possible so that you could start afresh again when the next dawn broke, the more awake you would feel. You’d twist and turn to find the most comfortable sleeping posture possible, and anything in between just so that it’d help you fall asleep, only to find yourself waking up from bed, defeated by the raw and cruel fact that you could only feel disappointment, frustration, sadness and possibly more the longer you tried to keep your eyes and mind shut.

Almost by default, you would check on your mobile phone every 15 seconds to see if someone had sent you a message. You yearn for the slightest hint of human connection, and if there was any, it would thrill you. But sadly, almost a steadfast rule of one of the strange laws in the Universe, such desire for human connection would not be entertained on a night like this. In the end, you’d log on to the internet, tried searching for some meaningful connection, on your blog, your emails, your Friendster, and even one of those long forgotten friend-finder social accounts you have created years ago, yet, there was nothing. The internet seemed to be so wide and vast, and so wide and vast it was that you realised you didn’t belong to any part of it.

Finally, you gave up the fight and succumbed to penning down your emotions, secretly hoping that someone would stumble upon it and read with empathy. However, you know that somebody would never have the chance as you did not know where to post the note. Every where on the internet, at least the places you were familiar with, were too close for comfort. What if that someone was the someone you’d rather die in silence than to let him read this piece of note? What if that someone is someone who knew you casually and would start to judge you because he didn’t know you enough? What if that someone was just another jerk who would use this piece against you? Too many uncertainties, too much risk to take, hence, this note only had one place to go – to be buried deeply in you.

Thoughts of rejection, disappointment, bewilderment, the need to make sense out of the overly orderly everyday chaos overwhelmed you, consumed you, till you could hardly breathe. Not because you had a real flu condition, but because your chest was literally suffocating from all the self-doubts caused by that one jerk who decided to tell you, right after you have decided that you want to make an effort, “I like you, but not in that way”. Thank you very much and congratulations, you had hurt me successfully even without being intentional.

But this should be how it was, shouldn’t it? That when you decided you would want to take a chance, you were actually opening up to others and giving them the chance to hurt you. And hurt you he did. Even though there were no tears, no remorse, no guilt, and no blame, just an awkward period of amicable silence, it hurt.

You tried going back to bed again, this time, hoping that there would be somebody there to hug you to sleep, but when you turn, there was only emptiness for company. And this was one of those nights, where the more desperate you tried to fall asleep, the more awake you’d feel.

New Home For The Mama

The mama has been very excited and busy lately shopping for a new abode. After 6 months of insane liaison with the agents and numerous house viewing, finally, the mama and her boy have fallen in love with an apartment down south of the Klang Valley.

The whole experience, till date, has taught her one thing, if everything else is to be taken for granted as it is - patience matters. Be it patience towards:

1. the never-seems-to-return-call-agent: apparently its the seller's market now, and there just ain't enough houses at the buyer's mercy, so she just has to wait till someone decides to sell

2.the forever-increasing-property-prices: the next house she has viewed is always more expensive, smaller in size and worse in condition than the previous. Eventually, she has to remind herself and the agent to come back to reality, and look for something within her intended budget

3.the perpetually-late-house-owners-with-keys-that-they-refuse-to-hand-over-to-the-agent-for-fear-of-i-dunno-what: the number 1 excuse for being was, there's a bad jam on the road! Hell ya, there's always a jam on the road no matter which road you take or whenever you are on it! So if you have made an appointment, stick with the timing! The Mama is equally busy here alright!?!!

4. Finally, the gruesome-awful-many-bank-mortage-sales-and-customer-service-representatives you'd have to meet for all the various details on house loan. No, there is never anything standard in their packages, except maybe for the increased Base Lending Rate. The last she checked, as at March 31, it's at 5.88%.

The mama has an excel sheet with a chart that has the compiled information on houseing loans of 6 banks, 2 local and 4 foreign. All of the packages are different, not necessary any of which is better than the other, as it depends totally on your needs. (I know this sounds very vague, but I doubt I should be sharing what I have found about the 6 banks, cos then, that's free advertising for them, no?!). But here is something she can share though, to pay more attention to what the foreign banks have to offer ;)

And having said it all, the Mama is feeling very proud of herself to have pulled through 6 months of what seemed to her as a torturous eternity, unscathed, and finally landed in her nice little cosy apartment.

Now, it is time to enter the next phase - Home Furnishing - and apply all the patience she has accumulated on the ID guy, the Construction Company, the sales reps from the home furnishing stores and possibly more. Wish this mama lots of lucks, and let's see if she can score some pretty lights this weekend!

I think nice and pleasant profiles are pretty much the same, where everything sounds too perfect to be true...and somewhat suspicious to commit the act of copy&paste.

《熟女日记》 - 序

大家好，我叫泽薇娜，今天为止我总共活了三十年又九个月。

我的这本《熟女日记》是以我从18岁开始写的手札本为蓝图编凑而成的。所以，在阅读的当儿，你或许会发觉许多的情节和心情都是属于单向思考型的，而这也是必然的，应为这是我的日记啊！

并没有什么特别原因激起我想要写作的冲动。如果真的要归咎的话，那就只因在半个小时前，我在准备晚餐时发了个呆。而在发呆的当儿，也就顺便一边匆匆回想着我这三十年又九个月来于爱情及事业上所成就的各种“风光伟业”，另一边则思考着要调配什么样的酱汁来配搭我特制的水果Caesar’s Salad （是有加入苹果干和葡萄干的那种哦！）。

在搞定晚餐的那一刻，一股莫名的思潮抨击了我的前脑线，从而感慨着如果我就这样把一切的“风光伟业”储存在脑子里，那岂不是剥夺了哪些喜欢搜集八卦的人的乐趣？！虽然我于现阶段所经历的并不能说是“惊世骇俗”，却也算得上是“刻骨铭心”兼“寓乐于教”的。所以，是值得好好记录成书一番的。

于是，在我特制的水果Caesar’s Salad 和南非白葡萄冰酒的的陪伴下，我开始撰写我第一本，也很可能是唯一一本的《熟女日记》，希望大家多多指教！

What a wonderful cooling start for a Monday morning!!!

I can almost see their eyes glitter with high spirit when they receive the gift pack, not that they have not receive anything similar, or even better, but I believe its like a Monday morning surprise...I'm sure most people will feel good and nice when they receive a little something on Monday morning! Plus, its perfume!! Though its meant for men, who says women can't wear them??

I'm wearing Vera Wang for men this morning!!! And it's smelling sooooo sensual on me now!!

A Bimbo Post Continues....

....somehow the twitpic thingy worked, and I managed to upload a photo of back street boy which I have stealthily taken of him hard at work, preparing for the shoot...

The soft blonde hair, and sharp nose, so the cute right??!!

This is Shaun, another sweet guy working @ Blink Studio...he is so camera shy that I had to literally chase him around to capture a shot.

Since I was still pretty early for the shoot, I tried to keep myself occupied by taking random pictures, while waiting for the CLIVE editorial team to arrive.

Playboy fragrances, the main reason why I get to be at the shoot and be with these cute men! Thanks Playboy!

After about 10 mins, the Editorial team of CLIVE arrived, and the whole studio became bustling with activities and chit-chatting. Everyone seemed to know they responsibilities and within minutes the studio was finally set and ready to roll.

Our first gentleman, Eric Poon, owner of JUICE Boutique in Bangsar Village II, arrived and getting himself warmed up for the shoot. Apparently, Photography is one of his most passionate hobbies.

Followed by our second gentleman, Joey, celebrity DJ.

I must say Joey looked really cute in that black & white outfit, so like the boys from the Saints college. But according to Joey, he was trying to achieve a more 'serious, business look' for this shoot, because he is now entering the next phase of his career, to become a Business man!

Honestly sweetheart, you still look cute and boyish in that suit, so just go with the flow okay :)

I wonder what did Robert ask to make Joey look so deep in thoughts in all seriousness...

Finally, the happiest moment of my day has arrived when Dennis Lau, the talented Electric Violinist & Songwriter walked through the studio's door!!! This man is soooooo soooo sooooo sweet lah!!! Not only is he very friendly and approachable, he is also very down-to-earth. Also, he was very dynamic and energetic throughout the whole shoot, very much similar to what was protrayed through his music.

Before Dennis left the studio, something damn embarassing happened. When I realised what he was trying to do, I quickly put my cheeks forward lah...but was mumbling "Oh oh...sorry, I forgot"....which made everyone laughed at my bimboness!! So the malufying okay.....

(Hmmm...it didn't sound right when I put it into written words, honestly, it was much funnier when I explain iit n person...so please ask me when you see me next about what happened, k? *prasan*)

Well, since I was already feeling embarassed, I quickly went to back street boy and asked to take his photo cos I think he is cute (go with the flow mah....am already feeling embarassed dy, might as well, right?!) and he agreed!!! *YEAY*

at the same time, I feel that I owe everyone here, including myself, some entertainment, which is the by-line TBG philosophy in blogging u see...

Long intro short, I have been seriously thinking (really, I think a lot these days) to re-brand my blog, cos I feel shy lah to be called a Thaiboxing GIRL, since

1) I am a Mommy / Lady now, and

2) the last I did any serious Muay Thai was like 13 months ago...these days I only train in kickboxing, which is not Muay Thai really...

Event if I were to call myself Kickboxing Mommy, it would sound like a bad joke turned sour-erer...

So then I thought perhaps I should, quoting what Joey says, take another level up in my career, and in this case, my blog, do something:

1) more lady-like and sophisticated and classy and everythingthatbullstuff....

2) that interests me so that I am motivated to continue with it....

3) More importantly, after reading soooooooooooooo many femes (M'sian female) bloggers' post, I realised that one of the easier ways to get mass attention, is to 'look pretty, act cute, and cam-whore a lot'!

(Bite me if you think it's not true, or just cant stand the truth being spelt out in ur big fat face, I'm always ready for a good nasty cyber word-war!

Oh, by the way, I think Howard_U says this is true too :) Now, you are up against 2, so think before you strike ya!!! Yeah yeah, I am a coward, and I need a partner to back me up...

Finally, the Aunty Wong persona came alive, though she has not been formally introduced, she seeps through and cameos in my daily life every once in a while, especially when I want to get away with something.....more often than not, it's getting the cheap harmless thrill....and leave a lasting (good & bad) impression in others...

Case in point, yesterday I went for a shoot with CLIVE magazine @ Blink studio, and I was totally feeling figetty cos its FLIRTY FRIDAY!! *yes there is a theme everyday for TBG*

So I left home at 7:30am just so that I can get to town in time for the shoot that was supposed to start at 10am. Here's the tweet-brief of my whole Friday:

The Wicked Weight Watchers by TBG

I am on a roll today.

Woke up feeling like I can conquer 10 press releases at ONE GO!!!!

Then there is the Happy Hour plan (Full pint GUINNESS draught at RM10 nett) with my colleagues to look forward to (starting at 4:30pm!!!)

Spent half an hour on a proposal, which I started working on it at 9:45am, and sold the idea to client at 11:30am~~

Then, found superstar parking lots wherever I went, even at the craziest place in Subang!

Then then then, most importantly, I read this article by a dear friend...whom i recently got reconnected with...from my past life!

Her articles are about these super annoying Wicked Weight Watchers (WWW) she has encountered, and one of which was pretty recent, with a family friend.

I loved this one particular para she has...

I tried to mumble that my skirt was unflattering but it fell on deaf ears. The more I mumbled the louder and more insistent she became. She finally went for the jugular and said, “No! It’s not your skirt - you’re fat!”

I’m a little ashamed to admit this but it took me a couple of days to get over her nastiness. I spent some of the time conducting unofficial surveys, among friends, on how to survive an attack from a Wicked Weight Watcher (WWW).

....and since I am on a roll today, feeling the happiest and most energised since a loooong time ago, here are my two cents worth:

1. If you have no respect for this WWW, and couldn't be bothered about his/her feelings, then you can say this "I agree with you, you are fat".

2. If you really have no respect for this WWW, and have a few drops to drink, then you can say this "I am fat, but you are ugly".

2. If you really really have no respect for this WWW, and just wants to be bitchy, and perhaps pick up a fight, then you can say this "Your husband loves it"

There you go people, and Trish, you can give this line a try the next time some annoying WWW decided to speak without using their (non-existing) tiny brain. After that, please tell me how it went, k?

There are times when I feel hurt by someone close to me, not for the things they have done, but the things they don't do, and this is one of those times.

I often wonder if I should just drop all hopes and trust and return to being who I was, a nasty sole ranger who build thicker and thicker walls to fend everyone else away so that I will never be disappointed and hurt again, only perhaps by my own misery.

It's almost like cutting off my ears, just because I do not want to be interrupted by the noises but miss out on the beautiful music.

Even if I want to stay positive, but what's the reason, when deep in my heart, there is nothing worth doing for....if there is nothing worth killing for, and no one worth dying for, does the same apply to there is nothing worth living a life for?

New Toys & Podcast Show Sample

Hello!!

I have been busy planning and learning some new skills, besides working and kicking ass!

Spent the whole of this week reading and experimenting with podcasting, at the same time planning to launch my own podcast radio show....but then hor....after much research, it doesn't seem to be as easy as I thought....i was only thinking like 'record, edit, and upload'....

There were more to it, like programme planning, format, topic / content of discussion, sustainability and many many more....so the stressful

Anyway, last night, past midnight actually, finally gathered the courage to press the record button and meddled with the audio recording software to do some simple mixing.....and this is what I have - a very simple intro to TBG's first podcast radio show....

Learn To Apply The Most Powerful Law In The Universe To Attract Your Ideal Life

The Law of Attraction is one of the most powerful laws in the universe, which, when put in a nutshell, it is about emanating positive vibrations and attracting positive outcomes to the things a person wants to achieve in his life.

According to Michael J. Losier, author, NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) practitioner and trainer, an authority on the Law of Attraction theory, Law of Attraction trainer and radio host, and also a regular contributor to the “Oprah and Friends” radio show, a person can design his ideal life and attract the desired people, jobs, situations, relationships, and many more into his life simply by applying the Law of Attraction.

There are three simple steps in the Law of Attraction where a person will have to consciously work at to achieve the desired results, namely to first be able to identify the desires, secondly to give the desires attention, and lastly, allowing the desires to happen.

However, I personally know that sometimes it is hard to keep forcing your mind to stay positive, especially when the bad and depressing incidences keep hitting continuously as though they have made an appointment to strike at the same time.

Michael actually has a solution to that, which in his book, he taught the technique of resetting your vibes.

This special “RESET” button is produced by the Law of Attraction Centre in Malaysia based on Michael's teaching of resetting your vibe. Designed to resemble a smiley face against a bright red background, the “RESET” button illustrates the simple yet powerful message that everyone can put a stop to the negative vibes, reset everything back to zero, then change the results he/she is currently getting by changing the words he/she is using.

Personally, I have attended a shortened version of this seminar, conducted by the Law of Attraction Centre in Malaysia (not directly by Michael). That 4-hour I have spent in the introductory class is one of the best time I have spent, because it has helped me to consciously access my mental state, i.e. vibes / emotions, which actually have affected my job and personal life a great deal, just that I have never realised it before.

Plus now, it is also what I have learnt from the seminar that has helped me re-start on my weight-loss regime!! Seriously, this learning has been beneficial for me, and it is highly applicable in any aspect of anyone's life.....you got to give it a go if you can afford the time.
